Probably one of the most controversial things ever passed under President Bush.
The Patriot Act. Should we keep it or should we be done with it, and do you feel it infringes upon your rights?

The Patriot Act has always been a sticky subject among discussions with my friends. Bu my views...
I do not have a problem with the Patriot Act. It has contributed to the capture and prosecution of many terrorists and cells home and abroad. Wiretapping is good, and it keeps us secure.
I also do not have a problem with the wiretapping. I do not have anything to hide, and do not care if they listen. But, they probably don't. I bet it's safe to say many lives have been saved because of the PA.

LOL Mr Otto Van Bismark If you are who I think you are, they should either A) Read our conversations or B) Listen to my conversations w/ my EX or to the conversations that go on at Forensics Tournaments. They would be rather alarmed at our creatvity

I honestly don't have a problem with it either. I do not see or feel that any of my rights are being fringed upon. I can STILL go about my day and do the same things I have always done.

i'm all for anything that helps to capture and prosecute terrorists....what "grinds my gears" is while we pass laws like this and our soldiers are over seas fighting we allow our borders to stay open and people to sneak across with the greatest of ease. Our border patrol needs to be empowered.

+3 I also agree, I don't have a problem with wiretapping. If it's in our best interest, then I say we keep it.
