I dont understand why civilians with 24 hr obligations dont use the military DA-6. It is the greatest rotation schedule ever devised by man and I aint been in the Army since 1984. I can still run one. Jeeze. It's a piece of cake.

It's basically just a duty roster laid out on a piece of graph paper. You can see the form at: www.armygold.pdx.edu/DA6.pdfThe Army has used this form since the mid 70's and there was never a reason to change it anymore...it's too easy to use. Doing a rotation schedule on one of these is simple. Lay out time slots across the top and who's doing what hours down the side... changing (which occurs alot in any military branch) is simply a matter of writing in the hours for that slot. Everybody learned how to run a DA6 cause we all liked being able to swap shifts...all we had to do was clear it with the guy who usually kept this form up to date..(THE DUTY OFFICER) - LOL ...a GREEN word for manager. Any halfwit can run a rotation schedule, so, tell your supervisor he's a moron. ;D (Lay out the schedule yourself and throw it at him...then tell him you want a raise for doing his job... ) [Agent:1]
