My name is John Powers, I created an organization "Operation Vets" to assist soldiers and their families after deployments. The emphasis is on changing the systems in Rhode island and nationally to be better able to support our veterans. I've seen the effect combat and war can have on a soldier upon returning from a deployment seeing it in one of my best friends. Great job Howie and keep up the good work. John T. Hey there my name is matt and I am veteran now. I did my time in hell (Iraq), i was deployed there twice in three years and went back in a small detachment for six months. I'm glad there are people out there that support our troops and our veterans. We all know there can never be enough support for those guys. Us veterans do need taken better care of after getting back. I was discharged from the army last july for suffering from a high level of PTSD. Thanks again for your help and support. I know alot of buddies that join me in saying thanks for supporting the troops.
