I'm curious (from a military perspective), about the apparent deviations so prevalent in Washington, concerning our representatives oath to protect the constitution. Military personnel, are also required to take this oath...and appear to do so, with resolve and genuine commitment.
In the event, there is a clear breech of the oath, on the part of our elected officials...is the military in a position to oust them? More specifically, if President Obama and his cabinet undermine the Constitution...and no one in government responsibly addresses this degenerate violation of our most precious safeguard, will the military intervene?
It is apparent, the majority of these so called public servants in DC are not only disregarding the fundamentals of their oath of office, but also making a mockery of it. And I have to wonder,if the military would blindly comply with a police state scenario and continue protecting these rogue politicians whose only agenda is to glorify themselves.
I would appreciate a balanced response to this question, and welcome feedback from all military and governmental factions and rank.
