To the significant others,
It is no doubt difficult for us at times to be in a relationship with military personnel. We go through deployments, living in different states, etc. However, no matter how hard it may be at times, it's worth it. We're with the best!! I just want to let all of you know that as a fellow significant other of military, I'm always here if any of you need to talk about anything. There are threads in "military family life" to discuss such issues as well. We are the girlfriends, boyfriends, wives and husbands of the United States Military!! BE PROUD!!

My husband is in the Marine Corps too, but he has only been in boot camp for one month, so technically he is still just a recruit. He graduates February 29th and I am going to Calfornia to see it! Is your boyfriend deployed?

My girlfriend left for basic training on jan 3rd. I do miss her voice but am very proud of her. I will be at her graduation in March at Fort Jackson.

my husband was disabled in Iraq in 03. I stay at home with him now. We still stand tall and proud behind our military and if he were able he would go again and I would help him pack and hold down the homefront as I did before. I am glad there is a place like this where I can read so much support of those active now. thank you

My husband deployed back in April, but he is back at Ft. Lewis now. He has 3 months left so I'm back in our home state, getting ready for his return.
