Hi all, Although I'm not in the military myself, I come from parents that were both in the Navy, then the Coast Guard. I have a Grandfather, Uncle, 1/2 Brother and Cousin that are all in the Air Force. I have a full brother that served time in the Army as a military policeman. I was married to first a Coasty, then a Marine. My Great, Great Grandfather served in World War I. As you can see, I am a devout military family member. I am proud of our troops and stand by them 100%, thru thick and thin. I also run a non-profit that fosters human potential. If anyone knows a disabled military vet that has an interest in achieving their athletic goals, please let me know. Thank you, Shirley! It's great to have you here! ....feel free to post the link to your Non-profit anywhere you'd like here. We are slowly, yet surely, developing this message board......we did include a section specifically for Non-profits. This could certainly be beneficial to people.

Awesome Shirley!
I too come from a long line of warriors. I served myself from 1980 to '84 under Ronald Reagan during the 'cold war" as a Pershing Missile Crewman (15E10) US Army reg. 3rd Bn/9th FA, Ft Sill, Oklahoma, and Delta Team, 74th USAFAD, Swabbstadle, West Germany Father and all Uncles were Vietnam Combat Veterans, Grandfathers and Great Grandfathers were all WW1, WW2, and Korea Combat Veterans. we've even had some of the women serve at various times. I Have a Brother serving now, a Brother that is a recent retired Navy Seal (You can know this now because he is retired), he retired with the Connie, and another Brother whom I am not at liberty to discuss at the moment. Bravo to you and your family and God Bless You for the non-profit work! You are walking talking proof that GOD loves a Soldier.
Amen
