Seeing as Oprah has recently endorsed Barack Obama, how do you all feel this will affect voters? Do you think it will help him, hurt him, or really do nothing at all?
Is America really ready for an African American President even with the Big O by his side?

Oprah endorsing a presidential candidate could swing thousands of female voters. But will it be enough to actually change what is going to happen I don't think it will.

Hi Hrdrok, General Rommel, fellow Repubs... I have to agree with Hrdrok. Oprah is not only resented by conservatives, she brings more potential controversy to the campaign. Her endorsement is about as useful as a beef over a Texas Lawsuit that wont be forgotten. ...or the fact that her name is an indication of political affilliation... Oprah backwards is Harpo (which is the name of her company). The woman is a Marxist and her agenda is to promote communism in America and elevate the ACLU and the NAACP to higher office. This is the nagging question on ALL republican's minds... "What the hell has happened to the democratic party mindset?" Gentlemen, the Democratic party is now the new modern Neo Communist party. Not the "party of the people" or for the best interests of their nation. Oprah's endorsement only serves to establish the best interest of THAT agenda. Obviously she/they feel they have more influence potential with a "defunct Muslim Rastafarian infidel" than a female who didn't liberate herself when confronted with more "Whitewater dress stains" than she bargained for. (The black vote being more important to Oprah than the female vote of course.) Whitewater or blackwater, makes little difference... Obama is a little fish in a BIG pond folks. He's got so many controversial issues doggin his heels that he better pray to merlin or Buddha (or whoever he prays to these days) that he isn't facing a vet for an opponent in November. McCain will make short work of him and expose him for the political infant that he truly is. Alotta baby boomers voting this year peeps... think about it. Who's vote at the dinner table was more important or carried more respect? Mom's? Little brother's? Nah... Dad's vote was law... and Dad didn't do Oprah ...roflmmfao! This election will be about who has bigger balls, not who has the most reason to kick you in your balls. Hillary? Nah... Obama? Nah.... McCain is a sensible choice. Clinton's are finished in this country. Better they run for office in Venezuela. Obama can get elected in maybe twelve or sixteen years if he can prove himself by then. Right now, he has no experience and no record to speak of. Just alot of talk and alot of "assumed" following based on race or religion. Same with Mitt Romney. Romney has about as much chance of getting elected as Donald Trump or Steve Forbes. Ron Paul isn't even being taken seriously and Mike Huckabee is too much like Gomer Pyle. So... on the "O' Factor"... I say "NO FACTOR" .... Oprah is out of touch with mainstream America. Mainstream America does not sit on their butt all day watching her sensationalize herself by handing out free cars to ghetto bums or attacking the beef industry. Mainstream America goes to work and worries about things like, do I have enough gas to get to work tomorrrow... Mainstream America is educated enough to know that ethanol isn't going to happen overnight (if at all) and a destabilized middle east is why we have this problem. Fixing that is how we solve this problem in the short term. Getting that job done requires someone who isn't afraid of winning. Securing the borders is a must. Taking care of vets is a must. Global emissions are NOT reduced by ethanol, they are stopped cold by Solar power. We couldn't convert to ethanol even if we wanted to. Millions would starve to death all over the world and cause more wars. Solar, wind, nuclear and hydroelectric power is A MORE SENSIBLE solution and can be moved into gradually, alot smoother and quicker than a mass conversion to a non sustainable ethanol fuel source. (Ethanol is more expensive than gas by the way) This is why Arnold Swartzenegger endorsed McCain. Oprah? BAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA Obama might as well have been endorsed by Adolf Hitler or Ho Chi Mhin... but he can forget about the Muslim vote. HAHAHAHAHA I hear Oprah and Hugo Chavez are good buddy's. I also hear that Mr. Scientology (Tom Cruise) and Sean Penn are her good buddy's too. Who's next? Rosie O'Donnell endorsing Hillary Clinton? Here's one for ya... watch out for this one... Bill Gates or Donald Trump types endorsing Mitt Romney. (That will tell the tale of why McCain is a better choice) Special interests are going to play a big part of this election too. Earmarks are pissing people off in a big way.
