Having a loved one in the military is definantly something to be proud of. As for me, well, most of the men in my family have served, my daddy was a Marine, i have a bunch of friends that have served and a bunch still in...along with them is my cousin. He's currently in iraq, and i miss him everyday. today for some reason is just a real hard day for me...i'm not sure why....i'm alone at the moment so i have nobody to talk to....i know that i'm not the only one that is in this situation, and i'm sure i'm not the last. so i'm writing to yall to tell you that even though we may be alone and have nobody to talk to when we're in tears, you aren't alone....there is always someone out there feeling the same way you do.

And the same can be said for me, Mel. I know what its like to be deployed and know what its like to leave someone at home. In fact, I'm getting ready for my second deployment and neither my wife or I am looking forward to it.
If anybody has any questions for needs a shoulder to lean on, send me a PM or IM
