So I'm watching Flags of our Fathers and thought. Hey. Most people probably saw it. What is your opinion of this documentary/movie. Personally, I loved it, thought it was one of the most d**ned accurate portrayals of the time period. Granted, of course it's going to be accurate as it is based on a true story, but it could have gotten botched up anyway. It was a very emotional movie, and I'm glad someone finally made a wonderful Pacific Theatre movie. As someone who generally studies only the European Theatre and not so much the Pacific, this movie really brought home that what was done over there was just as important as what was done in Europe.
May God rest their souls.

I haven't seen it I guess. I still would watch "Saving Private Ryan" 100 more times...
