Well I'm planning on getting a bike. I was looking for a good starter bike and so far have liked the Suzuki GS500F.
I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this bike and its reliability.

it's a good starter bike. it has a full fairing, so that's good for the comfort aspect. it has a CDI ignition. it's air cooled, which helps with the engines durability. it's got 2 34mm Mikuni carburetors to help with fuel efficiency and power delivery...it can hold 5.3 gallons of fuel...single disc brake in front and back...310mm rotor and 4 piston caliper (front) and the back has a 2 piston caliper...
it's a very common starter bike, i've never heard anything bad about them...

No, I haven't gotten it yet. I've bee real busy for the past month or so. Some financial problems, and then of course everyones' favorite, EXAMS.
But I'm still looking forward to getting the bike. I'm thinking of going for a used one first. Purely because people are still running their bikes bought back in the 80's, so I assume it's the S-10 of the motorcycle world.
