Operational Security, or OPSEC, was created to keep our critical information safe. This includes the saftey of ourselves, our significant others, and other military members. Each decision we make, not only affects us, but the military as a whole, since we are on the internet.
Registering with samSForce means you are agreeing to follow OPSEC at all times, which is further explained below.
We bust our humps to make sure OPSEC is followed. We will be editing and deleting posts, signatures, etc, as needed to keep in compliance with OPSEC. Please don't take it personally if your posts are edited or deleted.
Failure to follow OPSEC is a big deal for several reasons. You put your life, our lives, our significant others' lives, and other military members lives in danger. You also put this website/Message board at risk of being shut down. Therefore, we have a 3 strikes you're out policy. After your 3rd OPSEC violation, you will be banned permanently from this site. We don't take this lightly.
"Sam" is a nice guy. He wants this to be the best-Military forum in cyberspace: one that will foster a supportive and understanding environment for all members.
OPSEC Guidelines
Do not discuss destinations.
Do not discuss missions or operations (....to include R&R Leave Dates....).
Do not discuss training equipment, that would otherwise be classified with a certain level of security classification (Secret, Top-Secret)
Do not discuss dates or times where troops will meet, gather, or do exercises.
Do not give out full names, addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers (whole or partial), or any other vital information.
Do not give out unit numbers, billets, or any other specifics regarding branch of service.
Do not assume people are not collecting information on you.
If you agree to these terms, please state in a reply "i agree"
Thank YOU!
