Well guys as you know I was considering becoming a chaplain and going through ROTC, however that program won't work because you have to serve two years at home as a minister before going on active duty, and that conflicts with the fact I won't have enough time to do that after getting my masters. That and like Bryan said all the politics, I don't like constantly arguing politics, every now and then is alright, but not all the time.
So instead, I've decided to follow in my dad's and grandfather's footsteps, yet blaze my own path, and try and join the Navy. Let's just say a prayer that it works out.
My plan is to try and go there first and if they don't accept me I'll try for the Army, AF and Coast Guard. So I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for all your constant support too! It's greatly appreciated.

David, i'm sorry that particular path isn't going to work for you. it sounds though, like you have a plan, and i wish you the very best. i'm sure your dad and grandpa are very proud no matter what you decide to do...as are we here at samsforce. no matter what branch or job you decide to do, you have "the want" to protect this country and that in and of itself is appreciated and something to be proud of. we're always here for you.
